WE are having issues with some labels, the writing on the prescription of the box/bottle appears to come of so we can not read the directions or scan the QR code, this has been a issue since we have been with Atlas since Feb 2025. I have spopken with our pharmacy and we are re labeling regulary but this is not safe practice, any suggestions please? Anyone else having issues?
Dear Emma and Amy,
Thank you for your feedback.
The majority of pharmacies use label printers that are heat activated, rather than use ink.
Amy your suggestion is a good one. I would also suggest asking your pharmacies to check the print heads on their printers, and also ask if they are using heat or ink printers. With the former being our recommendation.
I trust that the above suggestions have been of assistance.
Kind Regards
Martin
We had the same issue. We were replacing eyedrops and creams constantly due to labels being illegible. We have been able to source transparent, waterproof labels that we put over the top of our prescription labels. Ours come in a roll. It has been really beneficial for creams, bottled medication and eyedrops and passed on CQC inspections at other homes in our company.
