i have always known when booking in monthly medication, you check the medication, strength, amount requested. The nurses must compare the directive to what has been requested. This would identify if there have been any changes to the medication since prescription has been issued. Would it be possible for the directive of the medication to be added to the monthly medication order when printed as PDF? We use this as part of our booking in process.

Thank you for your suggestion. I am pleased to confirm that we are making improvements to the way that changes to medication therapy will be managed going forward. These new changes will greatly improve the ability for care homes to identify changes and also have the opportunity to approve them, before they become active.
